A 24-year-old Passaic County smoke shop employee was arrested after he sold a flavored vape e-cigarette to an officer who was under 21 years old, local police said. Prospect Park police had gotten several complaints regarding activities at Moe's Smoke Shop on North 6th Street, particularly selling restricted products to underage customers, they said in a press release. A real estate agent was arrested after she threatened to blow up a Passaic County grammar school, authorities said Friday. Veronika L. Callirgos, 35, allegedly “became irate” during a phone conversation with an administrator at Prospect Park School No. 1 on Wednesday – a day after 19 children and two teachers were shot and killed at a school in Uvalde, Texas. UPDATE: A bicyclist was struck and killed Wednesday afternoon in Prospect Park. The 32-year-old victim was struck after riding into the path of 2005 Toyota Corolla near the corner of North 8th Street and Brown Avenue shortly before 12:45 p.m., responders said. A now-former employee at a Bergen County collectibles and sports memorabilia store was busted after he stole and sold merchandise, authorities said. Prospect Park PD: Morris County Driver Found With 750 Heroin Folds After Running Stop Sign
A Morris County driver who ran a stop sign was carrying 750 heroin folds for sale, Prospect Park police said. Officer Greg Williams stopped a 2019 Nissan Altima on Hopper Street and Belle Avenue shortly before noon Monday, Detective Sgt. Walter Richmond said. Williams arrested the driver, 20-year-old Jerelle Wright of Riverdale, after finding the heroin and a bag of pot, Richmond said. He charged Wright with drug possession counts, issued several summonses, then released him pending a hearing in Central Judicial Processing Court in Paterson.

Prospect Park Detectives Crack Burglary Spree
A pair of Prospect Park police investigators cracked a half-dozen borough car burglaries several others in surrounding towns with the arrest of a 20-year-old Paterson man. Detective Sgt. PROSPECT PARK, N.J. – A driver who dropped a bundle of heroin folds when he was stopped by Prospect Park police had a lot more where that came from, authorities said. PROSPECT PARK, N.J. – Prospect Park police identified and tracked down a man who they said robbed a local restaurant of $582 at knifepoint while using a juvenile as a lookout. Malik Lyons, 18, of Atlantic City was arrested in Newark on Monday by Detective Walter Richmond and Officer Arthur Canestrino, who charged him with robbing the Cafecito restaurant on North 8th Street shortly before 7 p.m. last Thursday.
