Paramus PBA Donates $3G To Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. (RBARI) has long held a special place in Paramus Police Detective Glenn Pagano's heart. In 2008, the rescue brought him his first dog, Kylie, a brindle pitbull found on the streets of Newark. At the time, Pagano wasn't looking for a dog, but he agreed to foster Kylie for RBARI.  A week later, he adopted her. The Wyckoff native trained and interned there -- fostering a close bond with owner Rich Sadiv, other employees and members. West Point Military Academy, however, became Brown's new second home after graduating from  Ramapo High School in 2016. Bergen County Police Go Head-To-Head With SWAT Team, Army Cadets For Charity Bergen County law enforcement, SWAT team members and U.S. Army cadets will be going head-to-head for charity next month. Battle of the Warriors begins at 10 a.m. at Fair Lawn's Parisi Speed School, Dec. 1. Admission is $10 and will all go to charity. The Paramus Police Department, Bergen County Regional SWAT Team and West Point will compete in nine athletic events ranging from kettle bell rows to tug of war. Fit Cops: Wood-Ridge Officer, Soldier Train Together Like Pro Athletes Several times each week, a group of eight law enforcers converge on the track inside of the Parisi Speed School in Fair Lawn. It's well before the sun has risen and some are only a workout away from a shift. The common thread is that they're all here voluntarily -- ready to put in work. All of the officers participate in a program launched more than two decades ago at the Parisi Speed School. The Training For Warriors (TFW) incorporates sprints around the indoor track in between sets of various upper and lower body exercises -- heavy.
