A 13-year-old boy was among a trio of underage car thieves captured by Paramus police overnight at the Mercedes Benz dealership on Route 17. Authorities believe the young teens are part of a crew responsible for similar incidents in Fairfield County, CT, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said. Paramus Mall Shoplifting Becomes Robbery When Female Employee Is Thrown To Floor
A shoplifter threw an employee at the Nieman Marcus store in Paramus to the floor after she caught him stealing more than $1,000 worth of clothing, authorities said. Jimmy Sattan, 31, of Jersey City was chased down and captured by Paramus Police Officer Michael Mordaga in the Garden State Plaza parking lot moments after the 8 p.m. robbery on June 5, Police Chief Robert M. Stricken Tow Truck Driver Crashes Into Tree Off Route 17
A tow truck crashed into a tree just off Route 17 in Paramus when its driver suffered what responders said was a medical episode Tuesday afternoon. A paramedic team from the Valley Hospital tended to the driver from Criger's Auto Body in Fairfield near the former Barnes & Noble at the intersection of Glen Avenue and the southbound highway before taking him back with them. Adult Player Slashed By Fort Lee Teen In Paramus Pickup Basketball Game
A 16-year-old Fort Lee boy was seized by Paramus police after he slashed a 23-year-old man across the face with a knife during a fight over a pickup basketball game at a Route 4 gym, authorities said.
