A babysitter was alone with a young child when a Pennsylvania couple broke into an Englewood home, helped themselves to food, drink – even a shower – and fled in the victims’ SUV, authorities said. They may have even had sex there, too.
The babysitter eventually discovered the pair, who fled in the homeowner’s Lincoln Navigator with jewelry, a wallet, clothing and a backpack -- while leaving the clunker they drove up in behind, they said.
They also took the one item that authorities said would lead police directly to them: an iPhone.

NJ Bookkeeper From NY Gets Two Years In Fed Pen For Inflating His Payroll By $500,000
A New York man who worked as an office manager and bookkeeper for a Union County company is headed to federal prison for two years for inflating his payroll information by nearly $500,000, authorities said.
Over the course of about three years, Patrick Snoop, 35, of Monroe in Orange County, NY, “used his position to fraudulently inflate his salary on several occasions by providing falsified information to a payroll company used by his employer,” U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
The unauthorized changes cost his company $494,373, Carpenito said.

A New York couple accused of trafficking cocaine in Morris County was busted with $180,000 in drugs and more than $1.1 million in cash, authorities said.
Marius Schwerberg, 65, and his wife, Nancy Schwerberg, 43, were charged in a felony complaint filed in the Town of Montgomery Court with first-degree criminal drug possession on Oct. 21, Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced.
The money constitutes the largest amount of cash recovered during a narcotics search warrant in Orange County history, Hoovler said.

Authorities raided a Paterson opioid mill, seizing 17,000 folds of packaged heroin and fentanyl linked to 10 deaths of both local and suburban buyers.
State authorities and Paterson police arrested Rafael “Chiquito” Brito, 33, and his girlfriend, Rosanny Prado, 38, in the raid on the East 36th Street basement operation, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said.
