Teacher Had Sexual Contact With Student On Jersey Shore High School Property: Prosecutor
A middle school teacher and high school advisor has been charged with having sexual contact with a student, authorities said. Andrew Fantasia, 27, of Beachwood, was charged on Wednesday, Oct. 25 with aggravated criminal sexual contact, child endangerment and official misconduct, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Jackson Township Police Chief Matthew Kunz. 23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Crash ID'd As Former HS Lacrosse Player
A 23-year-old motorcyclist died in a Howell crash Friday, July 29, police said. Dakota Neron was on a 2019 Yamaha bike when he veered off of Norse Drive when he veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole around 10:30 p.m., NJ Advance Media reports citing Howell police. The Jackson resident was rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Online records show Neron played lacrosse for Jackson Memorial High School. Ocean County Native Among 24 Killed In Tennessee Tornados
A 36-year-old Ocean County native was among two dozen people killed in a Tennessee tornadoTuesday morning. Jamie Smith, a graduate of Jackson Memorial High School, owned an office cleaning company and lived near Nashville with her 8-year-old son, Logan, NJ.com reports. Logan was staying with Smith's father when the storms hit, the media outlet says. Smith died of injuries sustained in the tornado, her sister Kristy Bailey Loff said on Facebook.
