The hydraulic arm apparently malfunctioned, leaving the worker suspended above Hanover Place off Heathcote Road shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday. Man Struck, Killed By Commuter Train In Glen Rock A man was struck and killed by a commuter train before dawn Friday in Glen Rock, authorities said. 92-Year-Old Woman Struck By Mustard Yellow Sedan In Glen Rock: Police A 92-year-old woman was struck by a sedan while in a parking lot in Glen Rock Mother's Day, authorities said. The woman was crossing on the 800 block of Prospect Street when a 2010 Honda driven by a 36-year-old Fair Lawn man hit her around 6:15 p.m., Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Man Struck By Train In Glen Rock Service was suspended to New Jersey Transit's Main Line after a man was struck by a train Thursday morning. The incident occurred in Glen Rock at 176 Rock Road, suspending service between Ridgewood and Paterson around 8 a.m., local police and NJ Transit officials said. The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson. There were no reported injuries to the 15 commuters or crew on board of the train, Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackerman said. Injuries Reported In Multi-Vehicle Hawthorne Crash Off Route 208 At least three occupants were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash in Hawthorne early Tuesday afternoon. A Volkswagen Jetta and Chevy Malibu were severely damaged in the crash on Lincoln Avenue at Rea Avenue near the exit from northbound Route 208 in Glen Rock.
