Amazon Facility, Schools Close Due To Water Pressure Problems Plaguing NJ Communities
Low water pressure or complete lack of water is plaguing communities in Mercer County, local officials say. Aqua New Jersey customers in Chesterfield, Hamilton, Hamilton Square, Robbinsville, and Windsor could experience the issues through Sunday, June 4, the company said. After years of planning, a long-awaited New Jersey Wawa store is hours away from opening its doors. The Plainfield location will open at 1470 South Ave., at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, NJ.com reports. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 customers, and all customers will get free coffee through Sunday, Dec. 5. An ex-con from Hudson County is headed back to the big house for using drones to smuggle tobacco, phone chargers and other contraband into the federal prison at Fort Dix following his release. A 63-year-old motorcyclist from Burlington County was killed in a Route 31 collision with a school bus over the weekend -- just more than nine years after his son died in a motorcycle crash. Alex Harvilla, of Chesterfield, was heading southbound on a Honda motorcycle when he struck an eastbound Freightliner school bus near milepost 15 around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez said. A former state youth facility corrections officer from Ocean County was sentenced to seven years in federal prison for trafficking child porn. Michael A.
