New Jersey hospitals are among the safest in the nation, according to the fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grade report from The Leapfrog Group. The Garden State ranks in the top 10 states for the highest percentage of "A" hospitals, joining states like Utah, Virginia, and Connecticut. Body Recovered From Point Pleasant Beach
A body washed up on a New Jersey beach this weekend, officials said. The recovery was made around 3:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Channel Drive in Point Pleasant Beach, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. A wayward Grey seal pup stopped traffic along Route 35 in Brick, authorities said.
