CLOSTER, N.J. — A Closter Christmas tree seller is permitted to set up shop at Closter Commons for the holiday season. “I’ve been in the business for a total of 40 years. I’ve learned a lot,” said Evergreen East owner Ron Miller. The Cresskill native is still awaiting the final amount for the temporary permit for his second annual tree sale in the parking lot of the shopping area, where he has about 400 trees available through Christmas Eve. Cliffside Park Library Lets Tech-Savvy Teens Create Gaming Apps
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. — Cliffside Park Public Library is allowing tech-savvy teens to help fellow students learn how to make their own gaming apps. Fifth-graders through high school seniors will be pooled in a free, six-session TouchDevelop app-making program under the acronym T.A.K.T.I.C.S., “To Advance Knowledge Through Incrementing Computer Science." CRESSKILL, N.J. — Cresskill police got a clean-shaven start to December after raising $3,000 during the No-Shave November fundraiser to fight cancer and raise awareness.
