Larchmont Ice Cream Store Closes LARCHMONT, N.Y. --- Another Larchmont store has closed. The Ice Cream Parlour & Confectionary, at 1941 Palmer Ave., scooped its last cone Wednesday, Oct. 22. According to their Facebook page, the rent increase and the taxes are too high, which lead to the closure. "It has been our pleasure to serve the community, and support many local charities, teams and causes," read the goodbye  note.
