Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

25-Year-Old Lawrence Man Found Dead While In Police Custody: DA Authorities are investigating after a 25-year-old Lawrence mad died while in police custody over the weekend. Christian Marte-Martinez was placed into a cell at the Lawrence Police Department headquarters around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports. Police later found Marte-Martinez unresponsive around 5 a.m., the DA's Office said. Officers began CPR and other life-saving measures before taking Marte-Martinez to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No other information was released and the investigation is ongoing.

Baby Girl's Remains Found At Southeast Massachusetts Recycling Center: Police State Police are asking the public's help in identifying the remains of a baby girl that were found at a recycling facility in Southeast Massachusetts this week. The newborn's remains were found by employees at Zero Waste Solutions in Rochester, MA, on Thursday, April 27, Massachusetts State Police Spokesperson Dave Procopio reports.
