Joseph D'Angeli of Haskbrouck Heights has organized the event featuring live music, artisan bat works and presentations since 2008.

“For centuries, negative myths and misinformation have generated needless fears and threatened bats and their habitats," said D'Angeli, a Ridgefield native.

"Batstock will help educate people around the world about the benefits of bats. And knowledge is the key.”

This year's schedule is as follows:

Sept. 18: Teaneck Creek Conservancy: Find out why bat numbers are in critical decline nationally due to the dreaded White Nose Syndrome, and what we can do to help at 7 p.m.

Oct. 2: Mexicali Live, Teaneck: A concert event filled with great bands, entertainers and an appearance from The Gotham Crime Fighter Car, DJs, artists and vendors from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
