The community is rallying for a Hasbrouck Heights family that was displaced by a house fire earlier this month.
At 4 a.m. April 10, firemen were called to the Roosevelt Avenue house to extinguish a two-level fire -- leaving the house inhabitable and forcing two parents and their two kids from it.
The family of four on a GoFundMe was described as one of the kindest and most giving in the community.
More than $1,700 had been raised on the page as of Thursday afternoon.
