Mark Ehrenburg, a police sergeant in Kinnelon, was seriously injured when he fell from a tree stand while hunting in Blairstown on Friday, Nov. 24. Ehrenburg suffered from a broken spine and broken vertebrae and underwent surgery. He faces a lengthy rehab though doctors are optimistic he will walk again, his family said. Palisades Park Police Sergeant Accused Of Stealing $10K From Resident Suspended A Palisades Park police sergeant accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a borough resident was suspended from his job, authorities said Thursday. The police department received a complaint from a resident saying Christopher Sambogna, 50, stole $10,000 for them, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
