Dog Tethered In Below-Freezing Temps For Days Outside NJ Home Over the Christmas holiday, a dog was tethered in below-freezing temperatures for days in Monmouth County, authorities said. The owners are facing animal cruelty charges, according to the Monmouth County SPCA. A sweet, senior Rottie named Coco suffered horrible neglect, they said. When the pipes at her former owner's home froze, they allegedly vacated and left Coco outside on a concrete pad, tethered on a short chain and with no food, water or protection from the elements. Authorities ID One Of Two Victims Slain In Jersey Shore Shooting Two people died Wednesday in a Monmouth County, authorities said. A female victim has been identified as 18-year-old Samore Edwards of Plainfield in Union County, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office. A male victim had yet to be positively identified as of Thursday. Authorities: Jersey Shore Social Media Stalker Walks Free From Jail A 26-year-old man from Neptune Township charged with stalking multiple women on social media was released from Monmouth County Jail this week on time served and good behavior, authorities said. Wayde M. Delhagen of Wayside Road pleaded guilty on Jan. 28 to burglary and four counts of stalking, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said in a statement.
