Bergen County Animal Shelter Reaches Capacity If you're considering adopting a dog to cozy up with when the weather gets colder, now is the time. The Bergen County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center announced on Facebook it has reached full capacity and is looking for good homes for their dogs. Dogs include Wallace, an adult shar-pei, Reilly, a 2.5-year-old hound and boxer mix, Clooney, a two-year-old pit bull terrier mix, and Cowboy, a two-year old Labrador retriever.  And more! Police In PA Seek Home For Dog Named After The Way She Walks Police in Northampton County are seeking a good home for a dog who has not been claimed in a week. The 50-pound dog is believed to be a treeing walker coonhound and was found on Dec. 11, on the 2500 block of Burrowes Street, Palmer police said. She is likely less than two years old, very friendly and high-energy. The pup was named "Prancer," partly for the holiday season, but more so her walking style, police said.
