Got Used Soccer Stuff? River Vale Athletes Collect For Youth In Need

RIVER VALE, N.J. — The River Vale and Hillsdale Soccer Associations will be collecting used soccer clothing and equipment for the Boys and Girls Clubs of New York and New Jersey.

Acceptable donations include soccer balls, cleats, jerseys (with sponsor names are okay!), shorts, socks, shin guards, pumps and anything else you may have.

Collection bins are located at the River Vale and Hillsdale libraries through Sept. 21, and at the Sports Expert in Hillsdale.

Nearly 9,000 items were collected by the associations between 2011 and 2016, totaling $121,000.
