Westwood School Officials Pledge To Do More On Bullying

WESTWOOD, N.J. – Westwood School District officials have said that changes to their culture will be made after a recent self-assessment found that more can be done to combat bullying, according to northjersey.com.

The harassment, intimidation and bullying (HIB) self-assessment presentation, delivered at a Sept. 17 school board meeting, found that the district’s middle school was most effective at handling the issue while greater steps could be taken at the high school and several elementary schools, the story said.

In response to the HIB assessment, officials pledged a greater effort to make anti-bullying campaigns more consistent across the district, according to the story.
