Woodcliff Lake Mayor Named Guadagno's Gubernatorial Running Mate

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. — Republican nominee for governor Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno officially announced Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos Rendo as her running mate.

The mayor emigrated to the U.S. in 1960s and became the first Latino to hold his position since becoming mayor in 2015.

Rendo is a Cuban-American attorney who campaigned and fundraised for Marco Rubio (R-Fla), one of Christie's opponents in the presidential primary.
