Hillsdale Will Vote On Banning Under-21 Tobacco Sales

HILLSDALE, N.J. -- The Hillsdale Borough Council is expected to vote Oct. 6 on whether to adopt an ordinance that bans the purchase of tobacco to people ages 21 and over, according to northjersey.com

If passed, Hillsdale will join Englewood, East Rutherford, Teaneck, Bogota and Westwood, which already have passed similar ordinances.

The Hillsdale ordinance will include a ban against anyone under 21 purchasing electronic smoking devices, according to northjersey.com.
