The ordinance originally called for the minimum age to be raised to 19, but was revised to include electronic smoking devices and will now also raise the age to 21, if adopted, NorthJersey.com reported.
Some local business owners agree with the intent of the law, but asked for a resolution to be sent to state legislators instead, NorthJersey.com said.
The measure will be voted on at the Nov. 10 meeting, NorthJersey.com reported.
