Emerson Police Make Narcan Save

EMERSON, N.J. — Emerson police used Narcan to revive an overdosing drug user on Washington Avenue on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old victim came around after first responders administered CPR and two doses of Narcan after a woman walking her dog noticed the unresponsive young woman at 6:28 p.m., Police Chief Donald Rossi told Daily Voice.

The woman’s heartbeat was revived and she was transported to a nearby hospital, he said.
