William J. “Bill” Cannon, 80, Of Westwood

WESTWOOD, N.J. – William J. “Bill” Cannon, a resident of Westwood, died Monday, Jan. 11. He was 80.

He served in the U.S. Army and before retiring in 1999, he was the Operations Manager of Alfin Fragrance in Norwood. He was a volunteer fireman and baseball coach for many years in Dumont.

He is survived by his daughter Peggy Conway and her husband John of Pearl River, NY; Dan Cannon and his wife Jennifer of Bergenfield, NJ. He is “Pop Pop,” to Megan and Kathleen Conway and Brendan Cannon. He is also survived by his brother Edward Cannon and his wife Rosemary.

He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and William A. Cannon along with Thomas Cannon and Patricia Youngberg and her husband Larry.
