Mildred Kaiblinger, 85, Former Westwood Resident

WESTWOOD, N.J. -- Former Westwood resident Mildred Kaiblinger passed away in Voorhees on Nov. 7. She was 85. 

Kaiblinger was born to parents Elmer and Charlotte (Demont) Hakes in Weehawken. 

She spent over 40 years in Westwood before moving to Voorhees. Kaiblinger worked as an editorial assistant for Medical Economics in Oradell and later for Jaguar Cars in Mahwah. She was also was an active member of the Woodcliff Lake Senior Association.

Kaiblinger is predeceased by her husband of 30 years Anthony (1981) and siblings Viola Aleffi, Robert, Harold & Kenneth Hakes.

Kaiblinger is survived by her sons Steven Anthony and his wife Laura of Chandler, Az. and Dennis Charles Kaiblinger and his civil union partner David VanDerlyke of Medford; four grandchildren Zachary, Ariel, Noah & Andrew, sister in-law Nancy Hakes, nieces Toni Gotthilf and Janice Bohlinger as well as many other nieces, nephews & friends. 

 The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road in Westwood NJ on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

A service celebrating Mildred's life will immediately follow the visitation with interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
