PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Lawrence C. Hansen, of Park Ridge, died Aug. 16. He was 59.
He was involved with Cub Scout Pack 80, coached PRAA soccer and baseball and, until this year, was the coordinator for the PRAA Soccer Referee program.
He enjoyed gardening, walking and being with family and friends. He often would bike or walk across the George Washington Bridge to his treatment at Columbia/New York Presbyterian Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne and sons, Ryan and Scott, of Park Ridge; older brothers Dennis of Oregon City, Ore. and Chris (Dorothy) of Bellmore, N.Y.; and nephews Chris (Amy), Kevin (Katie) and Keith (Coleen) and their respective children, all of Long Island.
