More than $1,100 had been raised as of Friday on a GoFundMe to aid his wife, Aimee Calabrese Forrest, and daughter, Sam.
"Everyone who has been blessed and honored to know the Calabrese and Forrest families knows that there are no kinder people, no greater families and no better friends in the world," says the page, launched by Montvale's Darcy Binder.
"Whatever Aimee and Sam might need, at home, at school, for dance camp or college, now or for a rainy day, we can hopefully give them a bit less to worry about during this difficult time."
