Westwood, Oradell Athletes Set Tcnj Track Record

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.– Two local track athletes – one from Westwood and one from Oradell – were part of The College of New Jersey's record setting 4x800 meter relay team, tcnjathletics.com reports.

Bergen Catholic graduate Dan Lynch and Noah Osterhus of Westwood were members of the team that ran a season-best time of 7:46.27 for a third place finish, eclipsing the previous school record set in 2003 at 7:49.12, tcnjathletics.com reports. 

Osterhus made another appearance on the track in his debut performance in the 400-meter event, flying in at 13th place to set his best time at a commanding 49.82 to rank No. 4 in the NJAC. 

The Lions had massive success in the 4x800 meter race, breaking the college's record and topping the charts in the New Jersey Athletic Conference rankings, the article says reports.
