Public Service Electric & Gas Co. (PSEG) is improving and replacing lines to "continue to ensure safe, reliable utility service for area residents and business owners," PSEG said in a press release.

Work on the circuit will be done in New Milford, River Edge, Oradell, Emerson, Westwood and Hillsdale.

Any permanent repaving that results can be expected to begin in the spring and will be coordinated with each municipality, the utility said. Service won't be affected, it said.
