Hillsdale Mayor: DPW Too Slow Getting Main Roads Moving

HILLSDALE, N.J. -- Hillsdale Mayor Doug Frank released a statement blaming the Department of Public works for the poor conditions on the Borough's main roads.

"DPW waited until late in the day yesterday to salt our main roads. They should have done this in the early afternoon. They did not keep up with the high volume of snow on them either," Frank said in the statement. "Had they done that, we would not have the conditions we have now."

Frank went on to apologize to Hillsdale residents and promised "corrective action."
