The proposals span nine lots from Lincoln Boulevard to Linwood Avenue west of Kinderkamack Road but not including Ranchero Cantina or a neighboring retail building. They do include the borough’s volunteer ambulance corps building, Lamatina said.
“We expect a contribution from the redeveloper to relocate the ambulance corps building to Locust Avenue,” where the borough recently purchased property, Lamatina told Daily Voice. “We anticipate making a decision to select one redeveloper at [the] meeting or shortly thereafter."
Lamatina is creating three-page summaries of each proposal to present to borough council members, who will review them with Borough Administrator Robert Hoffmann.
This is the second request for proposals the borough issued for the project. The previous RFP included only five lots.Hornrock Properties was the lone redeveloper to submit an RFP, which the council rejected.
