Motorcycle Club Honors Westwood Boy, 7, Battling Cancer

WESTWOOD, N.J. — A local motorcycle club has chosen a 7-year-old battling cancer from Westwood to be the recipient of its annual charity event.

The Renegade Pigs of Carlstadt will be honoring Joey Bulger, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in October.

More $9,000 has been raised for the 7-year-old, who has been out of school since being diagnosed.

Donations are accepted through Mayday Missions.

The Renegade Pigs charity event is meant to assist police officers and their families in times of need. Joey's father works as a police officer in River Vale.

The charity event will take place on May 20th at Redd's Restaurant and Bar, 317 Washington Avenue in Carlstadt.
