"This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman of River Vale is setting the record straight:

Madison (Caitlin Thompson) and Kevin (Justin Hartley) are so not a thing.

The show's season finale, which aired Tuesday on NBC, revealed Kevin's love interest was Beth's cousin... not Madison, as many seemed to have been hoping.

Fogelman tweeted:

Just FYI: Madison is my wife in real life @CaitwithaC And if you thought I was letting her sleep with @justinhartley on national television you're nuts. #ThisIsUs
