The workshop will offer tips and strategies for owners, adopters, rescue, foster and shelter workers and more on caring for dogs exhibiting shyness or fear issues.
Positive reinforcement strategies, classical and operant conditioning, acclimating dogs to new environments, body language reading and more will be covered.
Admission is open to humans only (no dogs) and costs $25. Call (201) 497-5999 to register.
The workshop takes place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Our Gang Pet Services, 184 Rivervale Road.
