HILLSDALE, N.J. -- A new year often means resolutions, and sometimes even real changes.

In that spirit, the Hillsdale Public Library is encouraging its patrons to make a resolution to change what they read.

The library is suggesting readers step away from the literary genres they may be familiar with – whether thrillers, romances, poetry or anything else they routinely peruse – and try something completely different in 2016.
