American Legion Post 162 Welcomes Home Hillsdale Soldier

HILLSDALE, N.J. -- The General Leonard E. Wood American Legion Post 162 Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake and Old Tappan welcomed home Christopher Feury Friday.

Feury served 39 months of active duty with the 82nd Airborne Division U.S. Army. While on a tour of duty in Afghanistan, his truck took a direct hit from an explosive and he was injured. Feury earned various medals and citations. 

Commander Phil Langner present Feury with an American Legion Veteran's Certificate and a Legion Grateful Appreciation Medal For Service For God and Country. 

Feury graduated from Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale and resides in Hillsdale.
