The students at Brookside Elementary School will benefit from the Second Annual Mom-pruh-nur Vendor Event on Saturday, Dec. 10 featuring women business owners.

Businesses will have a chance to make direct sales, showcase their products and services, accept pre-orders and network with the community and other entrepreneurs.

The event runs 12-3 p.m. at the Westwood Community Center.

Mom-pruh-nur is an annual event that sprung from the vision of two working moms, Bernadette Gehringer and Carrie Ralston. They wanted to support their fellow mom and women entrepreneurs while raising funds for their sons' school, Brookside Elementary School in Westwood.

There will be over 80 vendors, including some guy-pruh-nurs.
