Westwood Community Band Ends Summer With A Song

WESTWOOD, N.J. --The summer concert series at Veteran's Memorial Park in Westwood ends the season on Sunday, Sept. 4. The Westwood Community Band will conclude its 16th summer season at 3 p.m.

The program will feature a variety of light classics, show tunes, marches and patriotic selections. 

In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Ave. 

The Westwood Community Band is a group of adult volunteer musicians of varying ages and experiences. Sponsored by the Westwood Department of Recreation since 2001, the band plays summer concerts in the Bandstand in Veterans Memorial Park, downtown Westwood. 

Veteran's Memorial Park is located at 98-44 Madison Ave.
