Hillsdale United Methodist Church Offers Unity Event

HILLSDALE, N.J. -- The Hillsdale United Methodist Church will host a screening of the movie "Selma" followed by a conversation and book signing with a civil rights activist on Saturday, Jan. 9.

Reverend Gil Caldwell, author of “What Mean These Stones?...,”was present at the March on Washington, Mississippi Freedom Summer, Selma to Montgomery March, and the Poor People's Campaign. He first met Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Boston University School of Theology in 1958.

His discussion will begin at 3:30 p.m.

The movie screening will be at 12:30 p.m. followed by refreshments.
