Sevryn Shelesky, 26, and Luca Shelesky, 28, both of Demarest, will be holding a customer appreciation day at Thomaston Feed on Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"Our customers have been super supportive," Sevryn told Daily Voice. "People in River Vale just seem to be really genuine people.
"They're always fighting for us."
He recalled one time in particular, when borough officials were giving them trouble with signage out front.
A customer had connections with municipal officials and helped to sort out the situation.
The brothers plan to grow with their customer base, Sevryn said.
"People come in here and sometimes recommend things that they really like, and we're happy to try and fulfill those needs," he said.
"We've kind of become an outlet for them, it's pretty much customer service in that sense."
Thomaston Feed is located at 688 Westwood Ave. in River Vale.
