Got Pizza? Next Stop Hillsdale For 'Two Brothers From Italy'

HILLSDALE, N.J. — A pair of brothers are carrying on their family's legacy at Nino's on Broadway in Hillsdale, which opened last December.

Anthony Beninati and Thomas Beninati named the place after their uncle's Lodi pizzeria, also Nino's.

The brothers opened their first place as Two Brothers from Italy in Washington Township in 1993.

Then came Il Villaggio's in Suffern, N.Y., followed by several other shops — many now under different names — on River Road in Bogota, Maple Avenue in Fair Lawn and Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

Nino's menu pays homage to the Beninati brothers' ancestors, with names like Grandma's Pizza, Grandpa's Pizza and Chicken Alla Nino.
