Ridgefield police were considering cordoning off the area and summoning the bomb squad for a suspicious package sticking out of a mailing box outside a Teamsters building when a UPS worker pulled up. SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- A funeral mass was scheduled this Friday for a popular 20-year-old Saddle Brook man who died suddenly on Easter Sunday. Garfield Man Killed In Nightclub Shooting Survived By Baby, Girlfriend
The 22-year-old Garfield man killed over the weekend by a shooter outside of a Paterson nightclub is survived by his girlfriend and his 7-month-old daughter -- the loves of his life. Parker Sams was gunned down outside D’Classico Restaurant and Lounge on Ellison Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday, authorities said. UPS Driver Hospitalized After Route 17 Crash
PARAMUS, N.J. -- A UPS driver was hospitalized with non life threatening injuries after being involved in crash on Route 17 in Paramus. Traffic piled up Thursday morning on the highway after a Jeep Grand Cherokee rear-ended the UPS truck, which had crashed into the highway barrier. The jeep driver did not sustain any injuries. Police are investigating the incident. Ridgewood police, EMS, and fire also provided assistance. Boyd A. Loving contributed to this story.
