Paramus Sanitation Truck, Jeep Collide Just Off Route 17
A Jeep crashed through a fence and landed on its side after a collision Tuesday morning with a Paramus sanitation truck just off Route 17. The 23-year-old Jeep Compass driver climbed out on the passenger side with what responders described as a minor hand injury following the crash on East Ridgewood Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. March 7. The expression, "Here, take the wheel," took on a whole new meaning for a Tesla driver who said his vehicle's steering wheel came off on New Jersey roads. Prerak Patel was driving on Route 1 through Woodbridge during the "horrific" incident last weekend, he said in a series of tweets calling out Elon Musk and Tesla. SUV Crashes Into Fence On Route 17 In Ridgewood
A Mercedes SUV ended up atop a chainlink fence between a tree and a highway sign after a two-vehicle Wednesday morning rush-hour crash on northbound Route 17 in Ridgewood. No injuries were reported. 1 Extricated In Route 208 Wyckoff Rollover, Traffic Crawls
Traffic was at a stand-still along Route 208 northbound after a car veered off the roads and into the woods during Thursday. The incident occurred between Russel and Ewing avenues around 5 p.m. The road reopened about an hour later but drivers reported slow-moving traffic. The victim was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries and the car was removed by a tow truck. Michael Jannicelli also contributed to this story.

Crane Needed In Paramus Rollover
A heavy-duty tow truck with a crane was needed to remove an SUV that took out a couple of traffic signs when it tumbled down an embankment Monday afternoon in Paramus. No one was injured in the Paramus Road rollover onto Bergen County parks property just after noon. Borough police and firefighters were among the responders. Boyd A. : SUV Plows Through Front Of Edgewater Store
EDGEWATER, N.J. -- Somehow no one was hurt when an SUV plowed through an Edgewater store on Saturday. The driver got out after crashed through the front of the Charming Charlie store at City Place off River Road just after 11:30 a.m. A tow truck removed the SUV.
