Murder-Suicide: NJ Mom Of 4 ID'd After BF Shot Her In Gated Pocono Community
A domestic incident turned into an apparent murder-suicide in a gated community near the resorts in the Poconos on Tuesday night, authorities announced. Leilani Ramos, a 37-year-old mom of four from Newark, NJ, died from a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds at 8:33 p.m. on Nov. 28, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, detailed in a release the following morning. Disguised Garfield, Teaneck Bank Robber Gets Three Years In Federal Prison
A Passaic woman who went on a two-month bank robbery spree with another woman that stretched from Teaneck to the Poconos last year -- and included them wearing hijabs and nuns' habits as disguises -- was sentenced Wednesday to 37 months in federal prison. There's no parole in the federal prison system, meaning that 24-year-old Melissa Aquino Arias will have to serve just about all of the sentence.
