Upscale Bergen County Gastropub Closed Due To Kitchen Fire Months After Opening
An upscale Bergen County gastropub is temporarily closed following a kitchen fire, the restaurant announced Saturday morning, Nov. 16, on social media.
“Thankfully, everyone is safe, but we will need to close temporarily as we begin the process of rebuilding,” wrote the team behind The Four Leaves, located in Park Ridge.
The fire, which was caused by defective cooking equipment, forced the restaurant to halt operations.

According to a Bloomberg, the fast-casual seafood restaurant has considered filing for bankruptcy.

A popular Italian restaurant in North Jersey is closing after 60 years in business.
The last day of business for Miele's Restaurant, located at 125 Bloomfield Ave., in Verona, will be on Sunday, Dec. 24, owner Steve Amadeo announced on Facebook.

Miele's was founded by Tom and Rose Miele in 1954 before turning over the restaurant to Joann Amadeo, who began working there as a waitress in 1967.

It's a big blow for bbq lovers in Westwood.
Robert Austin Cho, who runs the popular Korean-Texas BBQ hybrid, announced on Instagram that Kimchi Smoke Barbecue will be leaving Westwood in the next two months.
"We thank everyone who has visited us, supported us, dined in, took out, bought merchandise and sauce, ordered catering, wrote reviews, shared photos, posted photos, videos, wrote blogs, articles, interviews, voted for us," Cho wrote. "There are simply so many great things that happened."

A popular restaurant on the Asbury Park boardwalk is closing after 15 years, NorthJersey.com reports.
The Marilyn Schlossbach Group announced that Langosta Lounge will close Saturday, Feb. 4.
Langosta Lounge featured "vacation-inspired cuisine and cocktails," according to its Facebook page, and provided space for live music. They've been run by Schlossbach and her husband, Scott Szegeski, since 2008.
