A former biology teacher in Bergen County had his teaching license revoked after an incident in which he purposely backed his car into another vehicle and then used a hammer to assault the victim, state officials said. The State Board of Examiners reviewed the information regarding Christopher R. Icochea from the Office of Student Protection (OSP) in September 2023, they said. State Revokes License Of Ex-Mahwah Teacher Charged In Student Sex Scandal
The New Jersey State Board of Examiners has revoked the teaching license of a former Mahwah High School art teacher charged with having sex with a student. Joshua Green, 33, in August pled guilty to child endangerment and as a result of his conviction, was "disqualified from public school employment," state officials said. Green last month agreed to relinquish his teaching certificates of eligibility with advanced standing and art. Teaching License Of Ex-Clifton Officer Who Touched Teen's Genitals Revoked
CLIFTON, N.J. -- A retired Clifton police officer-turned assistant principal had his teaching licenses and principal eligibility revoked by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners. Roger A. Schneider pled guilty to cruelty and neglect of children after admitting to touching a teen's genitals. Schneider -- who currently held a Teacher of Social Studies Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing -- was disqualified from public school employment, the Board said. He agreed to relinquish his certificates, which were revoked on Jan. 19. 2018, according to the Board.
