Pastor, 4 Firefighters Critical After Explosion Destroys NY Church
Several firefighters and a pastor are fighting for their lives following a suspected gas explosion at a church in upstate New York. Emergency crews in Oneida County rushed to Abundant Life Church on Route 12 in Boonville shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, for reports of an explosion and fire, according to Oneida County 911. New Jersey officials have implemented high-level fire restrictions due to extremely dry conditions, making forests extremely vulnerable to wildfires.
