This NJ County's Longest Walking, Biking Trail Just Opened — And It's Stunning
After three decades of planning, a long-awaited 5.1-mile bike and pedestrian path has officially opened in North Jersey. Firefighters were working to knock down a fire at a home in a flood zone in Lincoln Park Tuesday morning, Dec. 19. Footage captured by Arvils Veiss shows smoke plumes and flames coming from the home at Riveredge Road just after dawn. Remains found in a wooded area in Wayne are believed to be those of a 63-year-old woman who went missing a week ago, the township’s police chief said on Friday. An intense search for Maria Ferrigno of Pompton Lakes began after her car was found abandoned on Farmingdale Road, next to a wooded area along the Pompton River, on Monday, July 17, Wayne Police Chief Jack McNiff said.
