Video Captures Pedestrian Struck By Jeep In Hudson County A 33-year-old woman was injured after she was struck by a Jeep Cherokee in North Bergen on the afternoon of Monday, Sept. 25, police said. The Jeep driver, a 39-year-old woman, was turning left onto 83rd Street when she struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk around 4:50 p.m., North Bergen Police Capt. Jorge Raposo said. The four-door 2014 Chevrolet Spark hatchback ran off the westbound highway and flipped, ejecting him, shortly after 6:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13, East Rutherford Police Capt. Jeff Yannacone said. The driver was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center by a Metro Ambulance crew after complaining of back and hip pain, the captain said. Although excessive speed was suspected, no summonses were issued, he said.
