The search for a missing 65-year-old man came for a tragic end early this week. The body of Orlando Chamorro, who had been reported missing out of North Arlington on Friday, Aug. 2, was recovered from the Passaic River on Monday, Aug. 5, Essex County Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Fennelley said. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force responded to Main Street and the Belleville Turnpike on reports of a body in the water that morning, where firefighters made the recovery, Fennelley said. The body of a 29-year-old man was recovered from a New Jersey lake more than 24 hours after the boat he was on capsized, police said. The Old Bridge man, who was not identified by name, was recovered by search teams on Prospertown Lake in Jackson Township just before 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz said. After a search that surpassed 24 hours, Paramus resident Heather Mashini has been found. The 39-year-old Mashini was found Saturday night, Aug. 3, more than a day after she'd been reported missing, Paramus police said. Police did not disclose Mashini's condition, nor did they say where she was found. Mashini had last been seen on Friday, Aug. 2 around 1:30 p.m., police said, who did not release her condition. Missing NJ Man Found Dead, State Police Says
A 33-year-old Irvington man who had been missing since mid-June was found dead on Sunday, June 30, authorities said. Isaac Bishop had been missing since Tuesday, June 11, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Body Of Missing Paddleboarder Recovered From NJ Lake
The search for a missing paddleboarder on a Sussex County lake came to a tragic end Sunday morning, July 7, police said. James Lee, 61, of Sandyston, had been on a stand-up paddleboard on Kittatinny Lake when he fell into the water and did not re-emerge Friday, July 5 around 6:45 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. A 60-year-old Orange man has been missing since he worked a shift at Whole Foods Market on Sunday, April 21.
