It's a staggering number: 75,846 fugitives were arrested by U.S. Marshals in the fiscal year 2022 -- an average of 303 per day of activity, the service reported. Morris County High School graduate, enthusiastic outdoorsman, and beloved twin Denis Alexander Lamb died in New York City on Thursday, Sept. 29. He was 29. Born in Troitsk, Russia, Denis was adopted by his family at age four, living in Chester ever since, his obituary says. Denis attended Mendham High School, where he graduated in 2011 before becoming trained as an elevator mechanic. More than 1,500 fugitives were captured by US Marshals in a 30-day initiative across several major US cities. She traveled the world and was married in Napa, but Diane Pallokat of Mahwah most cherished summer vacations with family and friends in Nantucket, loved ones said. Yet the greatest joys for Pallokat, who died suddenly this past weekend at 55, were her two children. James P. Guerra Jr., a lifelong resident of Fair Lawn, died Wednesday, April 1. He was 27. Born in New Hyde Park, New York, James graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell in 2010 and went on to receive a business administration degree from William Paterson University in Wayne, his obituary says. 'Relative In Trouble': 80-Something Glen Rock Victim Sends Scammers $12,000 Cash
A Glen Rock woman in her 80s wrapped $12,000 in cash and sent it to phone scammers who convinced her that a relative in trouble needed it, authorities said. One of the scammers called the victim claiming to be the relative and then put an accomplice posing as an attorney on the phone, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said Monday. The “attorney” told the victim that the relative was in jail and needed the cash sent by UPS to an address in Memphis, TN, Ackermann said.
